I’m Charlotte, the maker, creator and designer. Farm House Cakes was established in 2014, back when I made my first ever wedding cake. My love and passion for wedding cakes has only ever grown since then.

I handle all aspects of cake design from getting in touch with florists, to contacting your venue, to sourcing the perfect shade of ribbon as well as the delivery and set up of your wedding cake.

We believe every wedding cake should be unique and tailor made to suit each couple and their special day. Every aspect of your wedding cake is important, from the finish of the cake, to how its displayed in the venue and most importantly the cake should taste even better than what it looks, each cake is hand baked by myself using only the very best ingredients from local businesses where possible.

I question I get asked a lot, is why “Farm House”… this is where my little business evolved from, in my parents kitchen, in the farm house, on our family dairy farm. Thankfully I now have my own cake studio down the garden where my creativity flows and magic happens!

Over almost 10 years, I have honed my skills to perfection. I am adept at intricate techniques, sugar artistry and mastering
the balance of flavours... and getting your cake to your venue safe and sound.
We booked Farmhouse Cakes back in May 2021 for our wedding in May this year as we’re so glad we did!! Our wedding cake was simply stunning. Charlotte sent a design of the cake over after we had discussed what we would like during our cake sample tasting (this was a great idea!). There were so many cake flavours to choose from and they all tasted amazing. We also hired a cake stand from her which accompanied the cake beautifully! Charlotte liaised with our florist and the cake was dressed to perfection. We definitely recommend Farmhouse Cakes if you are booking a wedding or even an event that requires a cake! Ask her for some cake samples to try, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much Charlotte, we loved our cake and our guests did too!
